THE BURSARY
The annual award per trainee is £12,000 tax free. It is paid directly to the participant in quarterly instalments. Each bursary is generously supported by a sponsor.
The trainees keep a detailed diary and must supply quarterly assessment reports. This feedback is then forwarded on to the respective sponsors. Both the theatre and the trainee are asked to provide a more detailed and in depth assessment of the bursary at the end of the placement. Progress of the trainee is monitored by the theatre and reports are submitted to the administrator on a six-monthly basis.
